Meet Joseph Obeid

Joseph Obeid was born in Laurel, Maryland and has spent his entire life in the city that he refers to as "the midpoint of Maryland." He refers to Laurel this way because 30 minutes north will take you to Baltimore and 30 minutes south takes you to Washington, DC. The Laurel location was special to Joseph, as many of his family members were scattered throughout Maryland, and it usually took no longer than 25 minutes to visit most of them. Therefore, he would spend much of his free time with family. One summer, Joseph decided to spend time with his uncle who owned a company called "Ace Construction," where he does residential construction and would also flip houses. Most kids would be refer to this as a "wasted summer," but not Joseph. He was amazed that this is what his uncle called work, and from a young age Joseph knew that real estate was something he wanted to pursue.

                    Fast forward about 5 years, and Joseph enrolled at Towson University pursuing a bachelors of science degree in Business Management and Marketing. At this time, he knew he wanted to work in real estate and began studying toward his goals. Instead of waiting to graduate college to pursue his real estate license, Joseph decided to go for it at age 18 and treated the license as another class in his full time schedule. Joseph closed his first deal five months later, which helped toward tuition expenses. Joseph continued as a Realtor, and closed on a few deals each year.

After four years, Joseph was awarded his bachelors degree, and his career as a real estate agent had just began, full-time. In his first year as an agent, Joseph received recognition from his brokerage for being one of their top agents, as he closed on over $6.3 million. 

Now, Joseph continues his journey as a real estate agent. He prides himself on being a solution in the field, and feels most rewarded when his clients are happy about the outcome of our work. He finds time to do what makes him happy, including: going to the gym, playing football and basketball, and spending free time with family.
